On August 21, Teatro Delusio - the legendary performance of the world-famous German troupe Familie Flöz, which has already won the hearts of audiences all over the world, will be shown in Dzintari concert hall for the first time in Latvia. The production will be shown as part of the international project "Baltic Awards".

Since its premiere, Teatro Delusio has performed more than 600 times in 29 countries - from Italy and France to Japan and South America. The play has participated with great success in the most important international theater festivals and is today considered one of the brightest works of Familie Flöz. Critics call Familie Flöz one of the most unique phenomena in contemporary European theater.

Teatro Delusio is a virtuoso theater of wordless humor, where actors with masks, plastic and filigree acting create more than 30 vivid and multi-layered characters. Each of them has its own character, internal contradictions and aspirations - characters in which the viewer can easily recognize both himself and those around him. The production reveals two sides of the stage – the dazzling illusion of success and the behind-the-scenes life, full of comic situations, reflections, ambitions and human vulnerability. The humor here is not superficial - it is deep, observant and allows you to look at yourself from the outside with a smile.

Not a single word is spoken on stage, but the performance is understandable to the audience anywhere in the world - this is exactly what has made Familie Flöz one of the brightest phenomena of contemporary visual theater.

However, as Inese Galante, the opera singer and chairperson of the "Baltic Awards" project's committee, admits, no review or description can fully convey the impression that this show leaves on the audience.

"Teatro Delusio is one of those rare performances, after which people leave the hall with a feeling of absolute happiness. I have seen a lot of theater performances all over the world, but something special happens here. The audience laughs almost throughout the performance, but after a while they catch themselves with very deep emotions and reflections on their own life," says Inese Galante.

The Guardian's critics have called Familie Flöz's performances a "visual wonder", while the international press has repeatedly highlighted the rare combination of intellectual theatre, subtle humor and emotional intimacy.

Tickets are available in the "Bilešu Paradīze" network.
